US Open Snowboard Championship Slopestyle Battle 2011 - Willet vs. McMorris Eric Willet and Mark McMorris battle it out in the last runs of the Slopestyle.
Before that Eric Willet gives us the low-down on the next day's upcomng US Open Slopestyle Comp and gives a shout out to his home mountain of Breckenridge, CO. This summer he plans to swing through Windell's, Camp of Champions, and hopefully New Zealand. He's on an Omatic Snowboard and got his start competing in USASA.
Mark McMorris has been riding for Burton since October and stunned the world last week by landing the first backside triple cork 1440 trick at a TransWorld Snowboarding shoot, called "The Park Session," at Snowmass, Colo., on March 2, 2011.  US Open Snowboard Championship 2011 - Friday! Pre-Cap Including THE PARTY!
This video "pre-cap" takes us through Friday at the Burton US Open Snowboarding Championship 2011 at Stratton Mountain, VT. We meet Slopestyle Winners Eric Willet and Jamie Anderson for a chat before their contests. Luke Haddock, Ulrik Badertscher, Yale Cousino, and Sondre Tiller say a few words. We have a word with Slopestyle men's winners Mark McMorris, Chas Guldemond and near winner Jason Dubois as well as ladies winners Enni Rukajarvi and Silje Norendal. New " voice of the US Open" John Weaver tells us how he got his gig in the longer interview version. Lauren asks the mustachioed man the absurd question of the day "Are you Danny Davis?" and ... he is! We check out the rail jam set-up by daylight and "The Jam" action outdoors and in after dark.  Bailey Duran Interview 2.19.11 at Catamount
Bailey Duran is 5 years old and in her first full season of snowboarding. This young snowboarding phenom is competing in USASA against kids up to 7 years old in the Ruggies age Class. She is a national points leader in boardercross and halfpipe,riding for Eternal Snowboard Shop.
Here we talk with Bailey at Catamount at the CMS USASA halfpipe competition awards ceremony in February 2011 - that's the Catskill Mountain Series, led by series director Bob Basil.

 Granite Gorge Mountain of Steez #2 2011
Granite Gorge, Roxbury, New Hampshire, 5 miles from Keene, knows how to throw down a party. This 2nd annual Mountain of Steez all day and all night party had 20 snowboard product sponsors, 3 or 4 contests on snow, outdoor food, a live band in the Beer Garden tent, swag tosses, freeriding in the park AND the usual, night riding and snow tubing. Late party at Lab 'n Lager and the Railroad in Keene, and a secret lakeside location, complete with blind-folded shuttle bus ride. Also, at the end of the vid hear the secret trail we found after riding all day at GG.

 Nashoba Freeride Series Rail Jam - January 16, 2010
Nashoba Valley Ski Reosrt raises them up and throws it down in the first of 3 terrain park events this season. Park Manager Keith Kreischer gives an update of this 3 rail feature event with mostly the local crew competing.Skiers Bobby Sullivan in the yellow pants and Tim do the misty flip. Sophie gives the 2 hand plant she worked on at snowboard camp a go on the rooftop box. We interview hard-working "out of towner" Nicholas Legere who competed in 2 rail jams in one day this season. And we catch up with 16 year-old Zach Normandin, Nashoba local who won 12th in slopestyle Open Class at USASA Nationals last season and has been interviewed by Trans World Snowboarding.
Then we visit Nashoba's Tubing Park, the largest one in New England. It even has an observation deck where parents not tubing can party to the music while their kids tube.

 Under Armour 3rd Rail Jam - Mountain Creek 2011 - Part 1
Mountain Creek, Jan 8, 2011 - 2nd stop of the 8 stop national 3rd Rail Jam tour. In part 1 here we see lots of rail action, and meet Kevin Whitehead of Outkast Sports who tells us why this contest is so appealing to the local riders. There was a huge turnout of 150 snowboarders and skiers.
DJ Image of the Bum Squad tells us why Slacker.com radio is different from other radio stations. The Park Crew and Jib Lab specialist tell us what it took to build this rail setup. And Timmy Kempson. last year's winner and his Dad Grover Tim comment on the contest.
